Welcome to the Alice.com blog. We’re thrilled to launch this blog as the home of the Alice community.
Alice will provide a better way to manage your household essentials online. We’ll make sure you never run out of toilet paper again, eliminate those pesky store trips for you, guarantee free shipping with every order, and give you big-box savings in a new box.
Before we open the doors to Alice, this blog will:
- Feature cool new products – and not just our own.
- Provide updates on our launch.
- Giveaways (and I’m excited for our first one on Monday).
- Post product reviews and coupon offers.
- Give useful tips and information on managing your home.
- Reveal how you can receive a beta invite.
- Highlight organizing, productivity and frugal resources.
- Include your stories.
Be sure to subscribe for practical and quirky advice.
Without further ado, let’s feature a brand from our favorite product category:
We’re totally obsessed with toilet paper. Don’t laugh, this is serious business. When people ask what Alice sells, the product we mention first is always “toilet paper” because really, what is more essential?
Our passion extends to other products too, like shaving cream, dust wipes, sandwich bags, laundry detergent, lipstick and diapers. Put simply, we heart household products.
We plan to offer all sorts of toilet paper brands at Alice, but my favorite is Cottonelle, and not just because of the cute puppy on the package. Visit the Cottonelle site to learn how to be kind to your behind and sign up for a coupon. We heart coupons too.
What’s your favorite household product? Do you like toilet paper like we do? Do you have a favorite brand?

Great first step in the future of alice. Site looks like it is coming together nicely and now an “official” blog! Wow so professional. Can’t wait to meet Alice keep up the good work everyone!
Thanks, Will! We’re definitely excited to be moving forward. Looking forward to keeping in touch.
Great post – funny! I am excited to see the site.
Dryer Sheets & Detergent Story: We have a newer washer and dryer system in a well ventilated area and we typically split the sheets in half for each dryer load. For washing, use less than recomended and leave the top in the wash. This enables less waste.
Sorry but I have no ways to use less TP except we need to come up with a better idea to toilet papering peoples homes as jokes.
Can’t wait for more content!
Matt
@ Ruth – Thanks so much! I appreciate the support :)
@ Matt – Thanks for sharing your tip. Funny you should mention toilet papering homes – we thought about that as a PR stunt. Okay, not really… thanks for the comment!
Diapers, diapers, diapers. Also, toddler potty wipes. And yes, toilet paper.
I love the cottonelle wipes! They are my favorite and I can’t be without them!
@ scsarah – You must have a little one ;) Yay for fellow toilet-paper lovers!
@ Courtney – I’ve never tried the Cottonelle wipes, but Alice will carry them – I’ll check ‘em out! Thanks for the comment :)
OMG – The Alice designer is amazing. This blog site is so adorable. Especially the little Twitter link in the sidebar. *Jealous*
Way to bring your blogging genius to Alice, Rebecca! =)
I definitely like toilet paper cause I know how upset I get when a roll is left emtpy ;)
As far as other household products, I love really good shampoos and triple milled soaps.
Congrats on the blog launch, Rebecca! Looks fab!
The site looks GREAT!!
I am so curious to what” Alice” is all about!! I signed up for when we can start using it since its in beta mode for private users.
Looking forward to your updates:)
@ Jamie – Our designer is great – I say what I want and it comes out ten times better than I could have imagined. Love that. Thanks for the comment!
@ Robin – Toilet paper lovers unite! Thanks for the kind words : )
@ Jennifer – Fabulous – we can’t wait to open the doors to you. I’ll send you an email with some more info too.
Hey all. Nice to see a blog now where we can comment. Can’t wait for Alice to get up and running.
On the topic of toilet paper … Did you know? Americans could save more than 400,000 trees if each family bought a roll of recycled toilet paper—just once. It would be great to see a “green section” on Alice!!!

Toilet paper probably won’t resell very well on eBay. I think you just turned off most of the Jellyfish crew you were hoping to attract over to Alice.
I think I’m going to like you! I’ve subscribed. Can’t wait to see more! For the record I recently bought Ultra Charmin’ (instead of regular Charmin’ that was our usual) and even hubby commented on it, so I guess that’s our brand.
TP ROCKS
@ czardastx – We can’t wait either. Thanks for the comment!
@ Hortwaddle – I think you could resell anything on eBay ; )
@ Cindy – I think we’re going to like you! My boyfriend once bought a generic brand besides Cottonelle and I ended up throwing it out it was so bad. Ah, toilet paper. Thanks for sharing!
@ Catawaba – Oh yeah.
tp is the evil that takes too much money every week! grrrr…
as for more things i’m interested in…diapers, and just plain saving money!
I can’t wait for more updates. Yes, I’m a big fan of TP. Without it, you’re just a wet loser sitting on a bowl.
Oh, and I heart coupons. And tips. As a quarter-life lady who has rarely had to think about these things until now, I’m very anxious to start learning!
i love toilet paper. I use it several times a day.
@ a thorn among roses – Haha. Diapers is a common theme! Alice definitely has you covered in that department… and saving money : )
@ Akirah – You crack me up. Thanks for commenting – I hope you find the site useful!
@ Jill – By far my favorite comment so far – succinct and oh so true ; )
The site looks amazing! Congrats on your launch! I’ve added you to my Bloglines!
Let’s try again :) I dropped my computer today and the keyboard is sticky and I can’t seem to type :)
Anyway, your site looks wonderful! I will be reading you through my Bloglines.
Hi Alice! I see you folks are near Madison, Wisconsin. Very nice – and good to see a company does not have to be in a big city to have a go at it. I can’t wait to see how your store looks. I took a look at the link to the Cottonelle site and had a few good laughs. From the looks of what you are up to, all I can say is “Look out Amazon!”
Best of luck on your new venture.
Tom
