To kick off the launch of our Alice blog, we’re giving away a Flip Mino video camera!
We’re big fans of video blogging and we love the way video brings out the personality from people like 5 Minutes for Mom, Momversation, Gary Vaynerchuk, Hack College, Jun Loayza, the Motherhood’s Sisterhood of the Traveling Flip, Shama Hyder, This Full House, Ryan Stephens, iJustine, Jessica Gottlieb, Mommy Musings, Cool Mom and Chris Brogan. We’d love to see more people expressing themselves with Flip.
You don’t have to be a blogger to enter this giveaway; we want to meet you whoever you are. Just follow the entry rules below for your chance to win.
How to Enter
Answer the question, “What household product are you most loyal to and why?” You know the one – it’s the brand you’d never switch from, you’d never go without and you’re happy to tell all your friends all about it.
You can enter in three different ways. You can only use each way once, but can use each method for up to four different chances to win.
1) Add a photo to our new “We heart household products” Flickr group of your favorite household product that all your friends should use, and then copy and paste the link of the photo back into the comments of this post. This will count as one entry.
2) Post about the giveaway on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn or FriendFeed. Then come back to this post and leave a link to your update and tell us what your favorite household product is that you’d never switch from in the comments. This will count as one entry.
3) Write a blog post about the giveaway answering the question, and link to us in your blog. Just paste the blog post link back into the comments. This will count as two entries.
One winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries.
Rules
Winner of giveaway will be awarded a Flip Mino video camera with an estimated retail value of $150. Giveaway is open to legal U.S. residents 18 or older residing in the 50 United States (includes DC). Void where prohibited. Employees (and their immediate families and households) of Alice.com, Inc. are not eligible. Giveaway entries will be accepted until Wednesday, March 4 at 11:59 pm. Winning entry must provide a valid email address (Alice.com will never sell or rent your e-mail to third parties). We will notify the winner by email on Thursday, March 5. The winner will have 48 hours to respond to us with their name and valid U.S. mailing address. If this information is not received within 48 hours, a new winner will be chosen. I am most loyal to the Swiffer Wet Jet because I don’t think my floors would get cleaned at all if I had to use a traditional mop. The Swiffer Wet Jet makes the job quick, easy and mess free. I just spray as I go, “Swiff” and throw away the pad – Easy Peasy.
Windex! I use it for everything…windows, mirrors, sinks, faucets, bath tiles, spills on tile floors, couthertops, plastics…I go through gallons of it! I added a Flickr photo…(hope I did this right :) Here’s the link. My Flickr name is The Babbling Brooks…

I cannot live without Glad Press and Seal. It works much better than plastic wrap, is safer in the microwave AND I even used it to cover freshly applied bathroom caulk so I could take a shower.

I love this for cleaning the walls, doors, and cabinets. Because it’s not dripping wet, it doesn’t hurt the paint/finish. It’s great for removing stains from counter tops too!

What a tough question about household product loyalty, though, I’ll admit. I’m a frugal shopper and put a priority on green cleaning products, so honestly, it’s been changing a lot recently as I’ve been trying new products to test their results.
Over time, though, I’d have to say I’m pretty loyal to toothpaste. Good,ol’ Colgate paste. Nothing else makes it into my shopping cart!
And I recently found out you can use it to clean silverware to get rust and water spots off, too. ;)
I’m not really brand loyal but I can say windex because that’s the brand I’ve been using to clean glasses and windows for a longer time.
I absolutely love Mr. Clean products! I don’t think anything else measures up!
It’s not glamorous but I’m most loyal to Arm & Hammer kitty litter – nothing else is as smell-resistant. Plus my kitty likes it – the top of the (covered) litterbox is her favourite spot to perch.

I have to say that I am quite loyal to my Bosch Mixer, if it ever breaks I will be buying another one! Even though they are expensive, they are able to make 6 loaves of bread at once!

I will not use any dish liquid besides Dawn. It is the best. I use it for more than just dishes. It is great to get spots out of clothes, especially grease. When My husband worked in the oilfield I washed his clothes in it.
