Neighborhood - Sunday Halloween!

Last month’s Neighborhood Chat was all about getting back to work and back to school, so for this month’s neighborhood chat, I wanted to do something really fun. Especially since as it gets colder outside, we need to remember to have lots of it!

This Week in the Neighborhood Chat
This Sunday, our topic for discussion will be all things Halloween!  We’ll be talking about your favorite Halloween stories (haunted or otherwise), your best costume ideas, decoration tips, Fall recipe ideas, spreading tricks and treats, and more!

At the end of the chat, we’ll open it up to hear your feedback on future Neighborhood Chat ideas, product suggestions and site feedback.

5:00 – 6:00 pm CT, 6:00 – 7:00 pm ET, 3:00 – 4:00 pm PT, 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm MT

Where:
Meet up in the Neighborhood Chat section of the Alice.com website!

Topic:
All Things Halloween!

Party Favors:
Private message me (Rebecca) sometime during the hour with your mailing address and preferred size and we’ll send you a t-shirt.

Three people will also be chosen at random from the RSVP list to receive $10 gift credits on Alice. Be sure to RSVP below to enter. Winners will be announced near the end of chat.

How do I join the conversation?
• You’ll need to create an Alice profile in your account if you haven’t already.
• Through Sunday, you can RSVP for the party in the comments below. There, you can include your Alice username in the Name field (for example, rebecca), copy and paste your Alice Profile URL in the Website field (for example http://alice.com/profiles/show/rebecca), and look for other Alice community members to friend, as well as be friended by them.
• Feel free to also include any topics you may want to discuss in the comments. We’ll add your questions to the list to ask during the chat.

    GREAT topic, Rebecca! We could discuss:

    - How Halloween’s changed since we were kids / is it phasing out?
    - Homemade costumes vs. store-bought
    - People who give non-traditional “treats” (pennies, religious tracts, etc.)
    - How to respond to people who say they don’t celebrate Halloween
    - Funniest or scariest things you’ve done/seen on Halloween
    - How much candy do YOU give out in a typical Halloween?
    …etc.
