Introducing… Alice Uncensored!

by Rebecca on July 29   ///   4 Comments

Kristen Chase of Motherhood Uncensored is going to start reviewing products in her true style: uncensored and uncut. Here, in her first video, she gives us an introduction to herself (she’s a mother of three with one on the way),  her hesitancy to try new products, and the journey she’s going to take us on over the next few weeks.

So, let us know – do you like trying new products? Why or why not? What encourages you to toss aside the tried and true – a coupon? The product’s packaging? A recommendation?

And don’t forget to look for Kristen’s first product review video soon!

PS – If you tried to watch this video before, we have fixed the audio! Thanks for your patience :)

If you have only discovered fabric softener, imagine something called “Shower Balls”! Nellie’s is the brand and they actually work really well, when one’s family is prone to rashes and reactions to the national chains’ fabric softener!

As for trying new products, well, my family hands-down devotion to certain brands but…a company change in formula, buy-out, or moving across country means changing and trying and adventures. Personally, it’s fairly easy to try new things but standards are high with usually some research before the purchases. Yet it can be really fun to try new things on impulse…Farmer’s Markets, top-drawer shops in fancy malls (occasionally) and jaunts in new cities or countries.

Biggest weakness: Gorgeous packaging, even in natural eco-friendly products. Of course, it’s wonderful to find new products that tackle old problems and are just really good!

Jae – I hope you mean “dryer balls” :)

We just got the GoGreen dryer balls (from Alice, of course – http://alice.com/products/1265996 ), and they’ve been great for our clothes (and my somewhat sensitive skin). Highly recommend, especially if you’re irritated by lots of other fabric softeners.

Got the brand wrong, they’re True Green or Green^2. But they work!

See, I’m already learning! Thanks for the suggestions. Though I’m very curious about these “shower balls” (lol). And I’m sort of sad that I’m the only one who seems to have sandpaper towels!
