We held a Facebook Contest yesterday and asked, “Who deserves and Alice.com gift card and why?” The entries were incredibly touching, funny and an all-around pleasure to read. It was extremely difficult to choose just five, and we appreciate everyone who shared their stories. Here are our five favorites and winners of a $50 Alice.com gift card:

Tim As I lay here in my bed, thoughts of Alice keep swirling in my head. Although trying to sleep with all my might, I can’t -not yet-because this contest ends tonight! Pushing aside thoughts of slumber, it’s to my computer I now lumber. To say, Pick me. I’d like a try of winning a gift card for my wife. She loves contests… and loves Alice too. And since it’s Christmas soon, this gift will do.

Yen I think my dad truly deserves the Alice.com gift card because he’s a single father raising 4 kids on his own. He works 2 jobs to get bills paid, and he never complains about the hard work or long hours he puts into his job. Not only does he wake up early to drive my brother to school and wrestling practice, he takes care of all the cooking, and buys the groceries. Winning the $50 alice.com gift card would really lift a huge burden off his shoulders because everything would be delivered right to our address. I couldn’t think of a better time for him to take it easy than for the Christmas Holidays.

Danielle I would give the card to my husband, Dave, because we are about to have our first baby on Monday, and he’s going to have to take over all the household chores, shopping, laundry and management of the home, which is going to completely overwhelm him! He’ll have a much easier time of it if I can get him to use Alice.com like I have been.

Lauren I think that my mother deserves an Alice gift card. This past spring she lost her job and has been unable to find one since. I wish I could help her out since she and my father have my school loans to pay off, but I’m a SAHM and can barely afford my own bills. Over the summer, she found your website and immediately told… me about it. It is now a habit of ours to go online each day and check out the great deals you have! Sue Mrs. Steinert deserves an Alice.com gift card. She is my son’s Kindergarten teacher. My son’s school is in a small town in the middle of Minnesota.
